GR SAU-HT Butyl (High Temp Self-Adhesive Roofing Underlayment) is a homogeneous butyl waterproofing membrane designed to protect roofing structures from water infiltration caused by wind-driven rain, snow and ice dams. SAU-HT is intended for use under many roofing materials including Metal, Tile, Slate and Shingles. It is easy to use, versatile, and created for use on the whole roof or on critical roof areas such as eaves, ridges, valleys, dormers and skylights. SAU-HT features a superior woven fabric reinforced surface fabric which provides for exceptional durability, UV exposure rating and good slip resistance. SAU-HT’s unique formulation offers a 260ºF/126ºC high temperature thermal stability and provides superior adhesion to plywood decking without the need for primers or nails. This self-adhered membrane meets or exceeds applicable ASTM testing requirements for steep slope roofing products, which is suitable for use in new construction or re-roof applications and delivers a unique combination of both high temperature thermal stability and low temperature installation deck adhesion.
